We have a Full Moon on November 15, 2024 at 24°01’ Taurus at 1:28 PM PDT. The Full Moon will be in tight conjunction to Uranus (currently sitting at 25° Taurus), creating a wildly disheveled but creative atmosphere. It’s too easy to fall into fear right now, rightfully so, but I recommend that instead of slurping up every last drop of panic that saturates the majority of American-influenced online spaces, take a step back and remember a core principle of Taurus.
Get. The. Fuck. Outdoors.
The first of the four Fixed signs, Taurus is very used to being labeled stubborn. I prefer the term self-assured. There’s a reason it isn’t easy to change a Taurus’s mind: they like their mind, and similar to their zodiac match Scorpio, they can spot a disingenuous attempt to have them enlisted as someone else’s follower handily. Whereas Scorpio is repelled by what they consider a manipulation attempt, Taurus simply ignores it. Your Taurus friend isn’t dense; they’re skilled at energy conservation. If you’re mad at your dumb Taurus friend, ask yourself what you’re trying to get out of them. An ally? Support for your own decisions? Reassurance you’re okay? This Full Moon in Taurus is a very good time to choose to leave people be. Allow this to become a guiding inner principle, if it feels good to do so. I frequently divert my attention away from irritating and annoying things by asking myself: what’s it to you, anyway?
There are plenty of things in life that aren’t meant for us, and often we’re so caught up in our irritated inner state of being, we forget we can walk away from what isn’t for us. Recently I made the mistake of reading the comments on an article about the death of a Canadian politician who positioned himself as a champion of the working class. One commenter sneered at the coffee shop referred to in the article: working class people wouldn’t drink coffee there! I, a person who has only ever been working class, started tippity-tapping away in a rage - working class people love good coffee, too! - before I realized that I wasn’t even taking my own advice, so hit the back button and walked away, wishing I hadn’t wasted that seven minutes of my life.
With this Full Moon conjunct Uranus in Taurus, we don’t catch as many opportunities to sidestep unnecessary arguments as we’d like. Sometimes it’s because we’re mesmerized by the sound of our own voice, and don’t know it (Jupiter is in Gemini). Sometimes we’re too angry about what we feel is deeply unfair (Chiron and North Node in Aries). Arguing with other people, though, should be avoided for the simple fact that a Full Moon conjunct Uranus in a Fixed sign makes everyone feel or appear utterly haywire.
